Well, it is slow, the problems are many, but we will eventually get through them. :)

Good news: the first third of the game is playable in the NWN environment (Without combat, but the economy is quite balanced already)

TH is a very complex, story oriented game, that's why this is a huge advancement.

Hey guys - any progress with the demo? Any estimate of when it might be ready? (I appreciate it's a long process, just trying to keep an eye on this!)

Oh, there is all sorts of progress. There has been much progress with building a world in Unity, for instance, but we are still working on getting the XML data exported from NWN into Unity. A person who has written a commercial dialog utility add-on for Unity is working on his program to add NWN import capability, and that will be a quantum leap. Unity doesn't have a neat conversation editor like NWN, where we have written all the dialog (over 450K words); you can see how we would want to preserve our previous work instead of redoing it. There are more animations and whatnot than you can see on the Facebook page. Things are starting to "work" in Unity, e.g. press a control in the GUI and get a result, but it's still a long way from a coherent demo. We have thought lots about another Kickstarter, but no way are we going to go through a lot of scorn over a lack of a demo (even though some successful KS didn't even have a story idea, ahem). It would have been nice to have the money, but on the other hand Kickstarter creates some time usage issues. We are moving forward on our own terms and it may be slow but there isn't the additional pressure either.
