What is your favorite race and why?

I went with half-Orc because I enjoy the idea of being a Orc with good head on his shoulders (high intel).

My vote goes to Elf, because usually that is the race with the biggest boosts to magic and natural resistances which most closely fits with my preferred playing style.
I've also always liked the race ever since first reading the Hobbit as a child.

Voted for gnomes - ever since reading The Chronicles of The Dragonlance series I've loved those little gadgeteers, always working for the next big invention, even though all the last ones blew up gloriously. Gotta love that enthusiasm and determination.

Elves because they are smart, the dislike confrontation, and OMG have you ever seen those elf-ladies??

What about the humans and dwarves? Nobody likes them?

Humans are usually the baseline race, so they are just a little too bland for my tastes. As to dwarfs/dwarves: as long as everyone makes them into Scottish miners, nah
