What is your favorite race and why?

I pretty much like them all, except Drow. I prefer playing Humans or Half-Orcs (untypical Half-Orcs) though.

They're overused, oh-so-edgy and Drizzt Do'Urden is overrated! There i said it.

Humans. Almost always. I like the balance and blank canvas feel of being a human.

Dwarves are hilarious, but I don't typically play them.
Elves can go back to their forest and hump their trees... I hate elves. (clan mentality that doesn't go away)
Half-Orcs are... disturbing. I would much rather play as an intelligent orc, not some half-breed.
Halfling's are just whatever. They're like short humans and serve no special purpose apart from being sneakier due to their size.
Gnome's are a pretty neat race. I never have any desire to play them, but like the dwarves I am still fascinated by them.

I am also fascinated by *some* elven things *sometimes* but usually they can kiss my...
As for drow, it's like someone ate an elf and shat them out... so a poop elf.

This does not mean I wouldn't or don't ever play elves. Just not much.

Humans. Because I can relate. They can be the scummiest of scum; holier than thou, or anything in between. I only buy games that have playable humans available. The best race there is!

Hey, I love dwarves too. Usually because they're hilarious, for some reason or other.... I just don't typically like playing them.

I've experienced too many cocky elves... and in NWN I was a clan in guildmember in a popular legit PvP server, and our main rival was an Elvish clan. However, I do actually like elves, but I think I like to pretend to hate them more than I like to simply like them.

I still don't get the point of halflings and still feel that half-orcs are just whatever. I'd rather play as a minotaur to play a brute, or a full-blooded orc.
